DLSU now offers BS in Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering program

De La Salle University now offers its new program under the Gokongwei College of Engineering, the Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing and Robotics Engineering (BS MRE).

The program focuses on robotics, automation, and intelligent manufacturing, preparing students for careers in advanced engineering and emerging technologies. It combines mechanical, electrical, computer, and software engineering to develop modern robotic systems.

Students can choose between two specializations: Industrial Robotics Systems, which focuses on robot hardware and control systems, and Human-Robot Interaction, which explores how robots can safely work alongside people.

The new degree aims to equip future engineers with the skills needed for the evolving manufacturing industry.
