Wow, soon enough, Phones like this one will go at par with current handheld gaming machines in the market. 1Ghz is a lot of speed for gaming. ^_^

The HTC G1 is also running the Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 Mhz CPU, and, the Android OS feels more like a computer than a phone!

wow astig.. andaming smart phones ngaun na pentium3 na halos ang speed.. yung nga lang.. MAHAL. wahehe! after 10 years, siguro may dual core na smart phone na. ^_^ iba talaga ngayon.. ang bilis ng technology

US Military is using that eyepiece in their attack helicopters, it is used when firing the gun of the chopper, that eyepiece made the phrase “point and shoot” obsolete because the chopper pilots doesn’t have to point at the target, they just have to look at it then the gun thing automatically points where ever the pilot is looking to(I know this because I saw it on Discovery Channel.^^). Anyways, in relation to the 1 GHZ mobile phone processor, this kind of processor would open many opportunities for mobile application developers because they have a lot more room to expand their applications because of the increase in computing capacity.

back when i was in high school in cupertino, ca, we had an intel rep show up to our physics class and gave us a sneak peak at a headset viewfinder that would attach to your eye like a cyborg. it was about 1x1inch cube that allowed for full svga color and was transparent: meaning you could still see where you were going while viewing the screen. you would have a handheld remote (or cellphone) to control what you see on the eyepiece. the only problem was that they didnt have processors that were small enough to power a phone capable of full windows os computing. mind you, this was back in 1999.. it seemed like such a revolutionary idea since we had no full color screens on cell phones/pdas yet. i wonder whatever happened to that idea.. the new jump in processor speeds would totally bring this to light.. i know the US military uses similar eyepieces to view the battlefield.. imagine walking down the street wearing a pair of eyeglasses that had a full transparent OS in your view.. take it even further, match it with gps tech/3G to visually point out local bars/restaurants on the street you are on.. ok im all commented out haha (give me a year to make it happen before you steal my idea! lol)
