Acer announces a bigger and more capable multi-mode laptop. The Acer Aspire Switch 12 is the successor to the Switch 10 they released a few months back.

The 12.5-inch has a full HD 1080p resolution that transforms into 5 modes.

The hybrid laptop is powered by an Intel Core M processor, 4GB of RAM, 60GB or 120GB of SSD and the usual connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, micro-HDMI).

The built-in battery lasts about 8 hours on continuous video playback.

The Aspire Switch 12 will retail for $519.99.
