SariSuki e-commerce get $10.7M from global investors

SariSuki, un sector minorista de supermercados en línea, logró recaudar 10,7 millones de dólares para financiar su expansión en todo el país.

SariSuki fue fundado por el ex presidente de Grab Filipinas y cofundador de Zalora Brian Cu, y ahora cuenta con importantes fondos de inversión que incluyen a Openspace Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Global Founders Capital (GFC), Saison Capital, JG Digital Equity Ventures y Foxmont Capital Partners entre los participantes

“SariSuki offers Filipinos value grocery products at extremely affordable prices that meet their daily needs. We are also empowering community leaders to be strong micro-entrepreneurs that will help propel the country’s economic growth from the grassroots level,” he added.

SariSuki now serves over 60,000 consumers in the Greater Manila Area, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and some parts of Rizal and Pampanga.

The company adopted a community group model wherein the sellers are known as Community Leaders or KaSari while they serve as the consolidator of grocery items of KaSari.
