Asus Padfone coming; hitting the Php40k mark

Listen to article

Estimated retail price of the Asus Padfone will depend which components you get but for starters, the Padfone and tablet will set you back around Php35k while the whole set which includes the keyboard dock and the stylus headset can go for as much as Php40k. Of course you can still buy them separately. These are Taiwan street prices though so the Philippine price could either be lower or higher than that.

We'll just have to wait and see once it hits the Philippines by 3rd quarter of this year.

When you say “factory unlocked” does that mean we can use it here in the Phil even if bought from US? Thanks!

The device is great. Almost all of the new gadgets are great if it is not only the price……

In the recent times, you should first consider the price before the specs……

And it’s so sad…. :(

would it really be that worth it knowing there are already 4.7 inch quad core phones coming in?

Just thinking

Speed is nothing when its using the old A9 cortex architecture. The Snapdragon S4 is faster than tegra 3 even though its just dual core, because its using the latest A15 Architecture.

but are you really willing to shell out 30-40k for this?

40k for a 3-1 device well yes.

Considering that you just have one device that is high in specs that turns into a tablet and a netbook. With battery life that is up to 100+ hours.

You save time in transferring files since its just one device, and you save data cost since its also just one device.

The perfect long term phone in my honest opinion
