Which Huawei Online School Promo Bundle is for you?

The pandemic has pushed us to this ‘new normal’ where we have to do almost everything at home. Suddenly, we have to work from home and study online for our safety. It can become inconvenient, especially if you don’t have the proper tools to be productive like a capable laptop and good headphones. Good thing, Huawei recently announced its Online School Promo Bundles, where you can get cool freebies for every purchase of select Huawei devices. If you’re a student or someone working from home and wondering which bundle will suit your needs, then let us help you make the decision.

For work and online learning

For students who will be taking their online lessons soon or for work from home individuals or home-based freelancers, Huawei is offering three bundles for their MateBook laptops.

You can start with the Huawei MateBook D15, which features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display, Ryzen 5 3500u processor with Vega 8 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, fingerprint reader, 42Wh battery, and a pop-up webcam. All of that is housed in an aluminum body in Space Grey.

This a good starting point for users who need a laptop with a large display and enough power to handle productivity tasks. In our review, we consider the MateBook D15 as a value laptop that offers a lot for PHP 37,990.

For those who want more hardware in a small package, Huawei also introduced the MateBook D14. It comes with a 14-inch FHD IPS display, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U or AMD Ryzen 7 3700U CPU, Radeon Vega 8, or Radeon RX Vega 10 Graphics, 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, fingerprint scanner, 56Wh battery, and a pop-up webcam. Like the MateBook D15, it also sports an aluminum body in Space Grey.

While it has plenty of similarities to the MateBook D15, the MateBook D14 has a smaller footprint and a lighter body, which is a good recommendation for those who need a more portable laptop. It has a 512GB SSD, which performs better than an HDD. As a result, Windows boots up faster, and applications launch quicker, which saves you time. It also sports a bigger battery, which allows it to last longer than the MateBook D15, and a backlit keyboard so you can efficiently work in the dark.

The MateBook D14 Ryzen 5 version is priced at PHP 39,990, while the Ryzen 7 version is at PHP 42,990. Those who purchase the MateBook D15 and D14 laptops mentioned above will get a free Huawei B311 router, which supports 4G LTE connectivity in a portable package. Users will need to put the SIM card of their preferred network, subscribe to data packages, and surf away. It is a useful device for students and workers who need to connect to the internet anywhere around the house.

And that’s not all. Huawei is also throwing in a nice backpack so you can store your MateBook laptop, router, smartphone, and other gadgets that you might have. The router and the backpack are worth PHP 3,780, so it’s a steal.

For those who want to stay fit at home

If you need a device to help you keep track of your activities, especially now that gyms are closed, as well as to update you of important notifications from your smartphone, then you need a smartwatch. Good thing Huawei is offering the Huawei Watch GT 2e. This device sports a sporty look, a durable fluoroelastomer strap, an AMOLED HD display, Kirin A1 chipset, and impressive 14-day battery life.

It has enough storage for 500 songs and can serve as a camera remote or key for finding your phone. With its calorie tracker and sleep monitoring system, one can balance fitness and rest while learning from home.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e is priced at PHP 6,990 and Huawei is bundling it with a CM510 speaker worth PHP 990 so you can use it to play your tunes while you do your daily fitness regimen.

For those who want to keep entertained

This features a Pure Sound 10mm audio driver, ergonomic cone-shaped bodies, touch controls, 3.5 hours of battery life, and a charging case that can provide an extra 14.5 hours.

The Huawei FreeBuds 3i is not just for entertainment as it is perfect for Zoom calls thanks to its 3-mic system for enhanced call quality, and Active Noise Cancellation to block out external noise and keep you focused on more important tasks.

The Huawei FreeBuds 3i is priced at PHP 5,990 and comes with a nova case and steel water bottle worth PHP 2,000, to help you keep hydrated while working, studying, or working out.
