The original developers of GmailHardDrive.com has returned and is now providing the same free service — yes, making your Gmail a remote backup drive.
We are now officially open and ready for users once again! Our old site was shut down by Google because the domain name had the term “Gmail” in it which was trademark infringement. Now our site does not infringe on their “Gmail” name and now no one will be confused as to whether this site is run by Google or not.

This is a different service than the one you got before. Remember that it’s a 3rd party provider and not affiliated nor owned by Google itself so implementations may differ.
I have the 3rd party program GMail Drive that you have to install to your machine and I’ve had this for quite awhile now. I believe this Xmail is available via the web, right? I’ll give this one a try. :)
