Canon Pixma G3000 Video Review

Listen to article

Looking for a printer that has a complete print-scan-copy feature, Wi-Fi connectivity, and low-cost refillable ink system? Canon Pixma G3000 just might fit your needs. Here’s our video review.

What we liked about it:

  • Monolithic design
  • Wireless capabilities
  • Continuous ink refill system

What we didn’t:

  • Has the same build quality of cheaper printers
  • Complicated setup
  • Noisy image scans

You can read our full written review of the Canon Pixma G3000 here.

Mine suddenly won’t respond after 4 months of use, with an error that just said Service Center Needed. Canon did honor the warranty but I couldn’t use the unit for two months while it was being serviced.
The large computer chain shop I bought the unit from was NOT surprised to see the unit being brought in for warranty claim and they have stopped offering canon g series printers. I say steer clear of this.

print-scan-copy feature, Wi-Fi connectivity, and low-cost refillable ink system + great linux support >>> brother dcp-t500w at probably lower price but released about two years ago today. Ours is still working great
