Having a battery capacity of a whopping 12,000mAh, the DooGee S89 Pro comes in first with a time of 23 hours and 10 minutes – almost an entire day. Running on a Mediatek Helio P90 chipset, this device has a 6.3-inch display and 66W wired charging. It is a rugged smartphone so it should be able to survive any fall damage that it might take.
Moving on to the second on the list: the realme 9i. With a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, it lasted 22 hours and 26 minutes in our standardized test. The phone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680.
In third is the vivo T1 5G with a battery capacity of 4,700mAh. Having a battery life score of 19 hours and 12 minutes, the vivo device has a 6.6-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset.
At the end of our list, we have the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. Though it has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, it only lasted 8 hours and 14 minutes in our PCMark battery test. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and has a 6.43-inch display.
For the standardized test that we do, we set controlled conditions and settings so that no other external factors will affect the power-efficiency of the device. As such, the primary factors that are tested here are the chipset, display size and resolution, OS, and battery capacity. It is by no means a perfect measure but it is the closest we can do to rank the battery efficiency of the devices we review.
