According to the latest Opensignal report for Q1 2025, DITO has emerged as the fastest mobile network in the Philippines. That said, the network earned 14 out of 16 performance awards from Opensignal.

DITO took all four speed-related awards, including 5G download speed, where it recorded an average of 280.8 Mbps, more than twice Smart’s 131.5 Mbps. It also led in 5G upload speed at 16.1 Mbps, around 3Mbps faster than Smart at 13.4 Mbps.
In terms of overall performance, DITO also won both the Download Speed Experience and Upload Speed Experience categories.
For the fourth time in a row, DITO won the Consistent Quality award, with 60.9% of tests meeting quality standards for common tasks like streaming or video calls. In comparison, Globe scored 47.7%, while Smart had 44.9%.
DITO also took the Reliability Experience award again, with a score of 853 points (on a 100-1000 scale). Globe and Smart followed with 766 and 770 points, respectively.

Furthermore, DITO led in 5G Availability, with users connected to 5G 29.1% of the time (up from 27.9% in the last report). Meanwhile, Smart and Globe trailed at 12.7% and 10.2%, respectively.
Smart leads in 5G coverage, Globe wins overall experience
Of the 16 awards, DITO’s competitors claimed two with one each for Smart and Globe.
Smart came out on top in 5G Coverage Experience, scoring 1.6 out of 10. Globe followed with 0.8 and DITO with 0.4 point. This marks the fourth consecutive win for Smart in this category.

Meanwhile, Globe took the Coverage Experience award with a score of 7.4 out of 10, edging out Smart at 7.2 and well ahead of DITO’s 3.7. Globe has consistently led this category in previous reports, too.
