TNT has been cited for delivering smoother gaming and more stable streaming after its network, powered by Smart, was recognized for having the Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines by network analytics firm Ookla for the first half of 2025.
Mobile latency refers to how quickly data travels over a network, and lower latency translates to faster response times, which is critical for mobile gaming, livestreaming, and video calls.
Ookla’s analysis of Speedtest Intelligence data for Q1–Q2 2025 showed Smart posting a median latency of 45.89 milliseconds across all mobile technologies, allowing users to tap, swipe, and interact with apps with minimal delay. Smart executives said this network performance gives TNT an edge in serving today’s gamers, streamers, and content creators who expect responsive, lag-free connectivity on the go.
