Neo OmniPad: dual-SIM 3G, Jellybean for Php7k

Listen to article

Quietly released in the Philippines and offering an affordable 3G Jellybean tablet is the Neo OmniPAD. It features dual-SIM 3G connectivity and it runs on a dual-core CPU with 1GB RAM.

OMNIPAD

Neo already had a 10.1-inch Edge OmniPad back then but this one is quite different. It has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and dual SIM capabilities. The OS isn’t that much outdated too with Android 4.1 Jellybean.

Neo OmniPAD specs:
7-inch  1024×600 IPS LCD display
1.2GHz dual-core CPU
1GB DDR3 RAM
8GB internal memory w/ micro SD
3G
Dual SIM
WiFi
Bluetooth
TV Functionality
2 megapixel camera
VGA front-facing camera
Android 4.1 Jellybean
3,600mAh battery

For Php6,999, you can get that package with a lot more. CMK Cellphones has it listed here if you want to check it out.

Just an update. 6500 na lang sya per PC Corner ad. This would be the cheapest dual sim in the market as far as i know. http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=24253625

Since neo is rebranding units from the chinese suppliers, what is the brand and or model used for neo omnipad?

Nice move, Neo! Please support these products all the way. Just checked Neo’s website, there was no mentioned about this tablet. Being an avid user and recommender of Neo-branded computers, bit disappointed with the lack of support for such type of products – even with previous model, Neo Edge Omnipad. Neo have to diversify your product portfolio or they will be left at the side.

I hate OEMs just putting “DUAL-CORE” without actually putting the model/type of cpu

Totally in agreement!

Totally Agree! Its either they are hiding the kind of processor they use, so that prospective buyers won’t be able to research about the performance of the processor, and make an informed decision, or they just think that consumers are idiots thinking that they can easily wow them into thinking that the more features, the better the product is. thereby foregoing the kind of processor it has.
