Dell outs SE, USB-C Ultrathin Monitors at IFA 2018

Dell recently announced their new line of monitors at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Their latest innovation, a USB-C powered Ultrathin monitor, is leading the front lines along with a few models following suit.

The Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin Monitor (S2719DC) features a 27-inch IPS InfinityEdge (borderless) display with 600 nits brightness, more than 99% sRGB, and 90% DCI-P3 color coverage. It also comes with a VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and Corning Iris Glass light-guide plate (LGP) which allows the user to watch HDR videos with ease and comfort. A Flicker-free screen with ComfortView is also installed in the monitor to reduce blue-light emissions.

Dell also announced three SE monitors of different sizes (22-inch, 24-inch, 27-inch). Each one of them features an IPS display with wide 178-degree viewing angle and thin bezels. They also come with Dell’s ComfortView feature for better eye protection.
