Looking at the table, we could see that some of the internals used for the three newcomers are identical like the 8-cored MediaTek processor and 16GB of internal storage. Below is the breakdown of the similarites and differences:

Similarities:

  • 1.3GHz MediaTek octa-core processor
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 4G LTE
  • Connectivity
  • Dual-SIM
  • Android 5.1 OS

Flare S4 Plus advantages:

  • 5.5-inch Full HD OGS IPS display @ 1980 x 1020 resolution
  • 3GB RAM
  • 16MP rear camera
  • 8MP front camera
  • 2800mAh battery

Since the Flare 4 and Flare S4 has the same SRP of Php4,999, you’ll be basically paying three grand more for a bigger screen and battery, a gig bigger of RAM, and better optics front and back. On the other hand, the Flare 4 and Flare S4 will only let you decide if you want a display with Dragontrail glass, but are willing to sacrifice the Flare 4’s aluminum sides for a plastic back.

hi. i have the CM Flare S4, just want to share that the battery seem to be discharging way too fast. I also own a CM Cosmos Force and it lasts significantly longer that my Flare S4. this is not an accurate estimate but it seems to drain 1% per 5mins. and this is on standby, connected to wi-fi. i have cleared all known apps that eats memory, resources and thus battery. it still drains way too fast. hope they will put a “fix” on it soon. aside from that issue, i am very satisfied with this phone.

I love Cherry Mobile but ayun for this time I’m switching muna to Alcatel Flash 2. Until they realize that Android stock rom is better and until they’re able to figure-out a way to sole the fast draining battery issue…

50%? If this were true, then I must be insanely lucky having bought over 40 items from Lazada and has yet to receive a single defect item. I’ve ordered a phone, flash drives, memory cards, powerbanks, battery, watches, appliances, etc.

Don’t both Flare 4 and S4 have the same screen size? Moreover, what are the available colors for each?

The batteries are lacking

^Typical Peenoise, “The batteries are lacking..” the heck.. I’m sick of this kind of complaint.
You are actually getting more than it’s worth.. I don’t think your ‘battery is lacking’ statement makes sense.

^You know the Alcatel Flash Plus? It has a 3500mah battery and it costs less.

Unfortunately for TRAPCARD · 11 years ago

… your comment itself is much more characteristic of “Peenoise” than the comment you were complaining about. Not to mention that it makes you look like a pompous, pretentious prick. People have the right to complain, and you didn’t have to read it. You have no right to tell them that they’re “getting more than they’re worth” unless you want to keep sounding like the paid dog of lazy, noncompetitive fat cat businessmen. Businessmen who would be out of business last decade ago Thursday if it weren’t for the amount of resources they throw into preserving their old, decrepit models instead of adapting to the pace of technology and *consumer* demand.
