Xiaomi announced that the global launch of the Xiaomi 17 series will take place on February 28 2026 at the Mobile World Congress MWC in Barcelona. The After making their debut in China last year, the phones are now prepared for the global market.
This launch focuses on photography, with a stronger partnership with German camera maker Leica. The two companies have progressed from their initial partnership toward full strategic co-creation which will develop better photographic outcomes.
The highlight is expected to be the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, featuring a large circular camera design, a powerful Snapdragon processor, and a big battery for all-day use. The device will probably feature Leica camera technology which enhances photo quality during low-light conditions.
Xiaomi will stream the event live online for fans worldwide starting at 2:00 PM Barcelona time.
