After the launch of the range-topping Xiaomi 17 lineup, the brand aims to follow it up with the release of the pseudo-flagship Xiaomi 17T series at the end of this month.

The first device is the vanilla, base Xiaomi 17T. While the brand hasn’t released any official specs sheets yet, word along the grapevine speculates the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra under the hood, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB storage options. It may also come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6,500 mAh battery in charge of keeping the lights on.

Based on promotional images, the Leica system shelters four cameras on the rear of the device. It may possibly be a 50-megapixel setup with a telephoto lens.

The bigger brother is the Xiaomi 17T Pro. It gets a bump up to a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset, which should carry flagship-grade power. The display is also reportedly larger at 6.83-inches and 144Hz refresh rate, so battery capacity has been upped to 7,000 mAh to accommodate.

The only “identical” parts between them so far are the RAM/Storage options as well as the cameras, but that may change as we gather more information.
