Alcatel, after long years of hiatus, will re-enter the smartphone market, at least in India, with its upcoming Alcatel V3 Ultra.

Ahead of its imminent launch though, its retail box emerged online revealing a hint of the phone’s design. Notably, the official Alcatel India account reposted the same image, confirming the model name.

Based on the image (which was captured on the unit itself), the V3 Ultra will feature a round camera module with three cameras and an LED flash. It also shows a stylus, hinting that the phone may support stylus functionality or include one in the box.
Some text print says “Born in France” and “Now in India,” indicating Alcatel’s French roots and its shift towards manufacturing or availability in India.
What’s interesting is the phone’s uncanny resemblance to the TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper which has been launched last year in September. To recall, the TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper sported a 6.8-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 108-megapixel main camera, and unsurprisingly, a stylus support.
That said, we can expect the Alcatel V3 Ultra to sport the same internals, but we have yet to confirm that.
There’s no official launch date yet, so keep an eye out for updates.
