Cherry Mobile to launch the Flare S7 series of smartphones

Cherry Mobile is poised to refresh its smartphone lineup as the Flare S7 series are arriving soon.

ROM dumps of supposedly the new Cherry Mobile Flare S7 series of devices have been seen to bear the following configurations:

With these configurations, it’s expected that the country’s top local brand will offer the next-generation Flare S7 series of devices at affordable price points as what they have started with the Flare S6, but lots of questions still remain. Would it ditch CherryOS for clean Android Oreo? Would there be more phones in this series that we haven’t heard of? The new Flare S7 series of phones from Cherry Mobile is expected to launch in the coming weeks as the holiday season kicks in.

Many thanks, do you know what phones available in the Philippines will also work in the USA with an AT&T or T-Mobile SIM?

Will these new Cherry Mobile phones be useable in the USA. I have a FlareX2, J3 Plus and an old Amber and none can be used with either an AT&T or T-Mobile prepaid SIM.
When I ask the SIM vendor they advise the units are not compatible with the US system?

It depends. Most likely not due to the frequency bands deployed by US GSM-based networks such as AT&T and T-Mobile are different from what’s used by most GSM-based mobile networks of the world.
