Angkas has recently announced the acceptance of e-wallets for contactless payment. The initiative aims to provide more convenient options for passengers now that it recently resumed its operations.
As spotted on its Facebook page, the motorcycle taxi platform announced that passengers may now pay their fares using their e-wallets, specifically GCash and PayMaya. Angkas drivers are using the two e-wallets.
Angkas further stated that passengers who prefer any e-wallets other than GCash and PayMaya might ask their riders if they’re willing to accept it.
Besides GCash and PayMaya, Angkas mentioned on the App Store and Google Play Store Software Update logs that it will also accept Coins and more e-wallets.
Do note that passengers are required to use their own helmet that complies with Angkas guidelines. Passengers may buy these Angkas-approved helmets through Lazada or Angkas Pabili.
