CM Tegra Note 7 Benchmark and Gaming/Speaker Test

While we prep up the review for the Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7, here are some quick tests  and demonstrations we did with the tablet. We benchmarked it, tried out its DirectStylus on its SketchBookX app, and played a couple of racing and shooter games on it.

Here’s a short video on the CM Tegra Note 7 as we briefly tried it out.

We first ran an AnTuTu Benchmark where it scored 33,499 which is pretty impressive. This is understandable, though, as it packs a powerful Tegra 4 processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with the company’s 72-core GeForce GPU. During gameplay, there were no major lags involved as you could see on the sample video.

Its front-facing stereo speakers are effective and immersive as well. Since it is mainly a gaming and multimedia tablet, having dual speakers facing you is the way to go. The volume levels on the video are its normal sound and weren’t enhance at all during editing.

NVIDIA’s DirectStylus is a passive stylus that sort of acts like an active one by having a pressure-sensitive function. We tried using it on the SketchBookX app and the results were surprising as users can make it work to their advantage to apply different strokes. As you have seen, you can easily come up with your own artworks when you want to take a break from playing games and watching videos on the tablet.
