Senator Tito Sotto has suggested a total ban on all porn sites in the Philippines at the Senate discussions earlier today.
The bill in question, Senate Bill 1888 or Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act of 2018, includes creating a program to educate teenagers on sexual topics such as HIV/AIDS, teen dating, and pornography. Discussing in the interpolation proceedings of the proposed topic, the senator suggested denying access to all Filipinos these sites based on how it is perceived by fellow senator Risa Hontiveros.

In the internet age, for most of them needs education against cyber porn, precisely because cyber porn is one of the most damaging and cynical representations of human sexuality to young people.

Several porn sites have already been blocked by a few telco companies as part of their RA 9775 (Child Pornography Law) compliance, but other lesser-known webpages are still accessible. Similarweb data also show porn sites as some of the most visited portals in the Philippines as of last year and still continues to date.
Wakt, may opinion po ako, for me? We shouldnt kase porn makes us not to be ignorant. If there no porn, we can be ignorant. And some of the netizens will find a way to pleasure their self, what if theyll gonna rape someone? Rape his sister,cousin or anything that his relatives only. Try nyo din palitan yung mga telenovela sa hapon. 90’s from 3pm to 5pm puro cartoons or anime. Sipag umuwi and magstay sa bahay ng mga bata. Pag telenovela may mga scene din na maseselan na napapanood ng mga bata.

Once they get those sites banned, it won’t stop some people from finding a way. As they say, paraparaan lang ‘yan.
And those sites might be the only form of outlet for some folks out there to release all that tention. And the moment that stimulus is taken away, those people will find release elsewhere — baka yung iba d’yan mangri-rape pa!

Forgive tito sotto`s intelligence regarding porn because again it will inflict the freedom of speech which it will ban also sex education,youtube,twitter,facebook and any other social media sites that has nudity too.
