Jabra team has claimed that Evolve 75 is their “best wireless headset for concentration in the open office” among the rest of the Evolve series. While it sounds promising, we decided to try our hands at it and see what it has to offer.
The Jabra Evolve 75 looks fairly similar to its Evolve siblings for having black and red as its main color and also for having a solid construction. Respectively, it sports a headband with rubberized matte finish and arms that can be adjusted smoothly. All these while making sure that the headset still stays firm on your ears despite extra movements.
Above, you can see its leather-feel ear cushions and on-ear design. The device is said to provide an all-day comfort. On another note, it is also built in with a listen-in feature. You just have to press the left ear cup to hear the outside world without having to take off your headset.
The device comes with a USB dongle so you no longer have to perform any tedious installation.
You have two ways to charge your device: you can either use the USB cord provided in the box or you can purchase a charging stand. In our case, we used the charging stand that comes with our unit.
What really stands out for this device is its ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) feature. Basically, if you turn it on, it eliminates low-frequency sounds like the hum of your aircon.
These pair of cans also have an integrated busy light that acts as a ‘do not disturb’ sign so you’re left alone to enjoy your music.
When it comes to audio and voice, the Evolve 75 offers high-quality sound. Even when putting the volume at maximum level, the sound still plays in undistorted clarity. Apart from that, it also supports Dual Bluetooth connectivity to two devices at the same time for calls and music.
