Razer Core now available for pre-order for $499

The Razer Core, the company’s Plug and Play Thunderbolt 3 external graphics enclosure is now available for pre-order for $499.

The Razer Core debuted at CES 2016 back in January along with the company’s latest ultrabook, the Blade Stealth. It is an external graphics enclosure that supports a single double-wide, full-length, PCI-Express x16 graphics card, and then connects to the Blade Stealth via Thunderbolt 3, turning it into a gaming rig.

At launch of the Razer Core, NVIDIA will support GeForce GTX GPUs, including the entire lineup of Maxwell GPUs like the GTX 970. Check out the list below:

The Razer Core is compatible with the Razer Blade Stealth and Razer Blade (w/ Thunderbolt 3) in the near future. Price is at $499 but can be had for $399 when purchased with a compatible Razer notebook. Shipping will start in April.
