The Razer Core, the company's Plug and Play Thunderbolt 3 external graphics enclosure is now available for pre-order for $499. The Razer Core debuted at CES 2016 back in January along with the company's latest ultrabook, the Blade Stealth. At launch of the Razer Core, NVIDIA will support GeForce GTX GPUs, including the entire lineup of Maxwell GPUs like the GTX 970. Price is at $499 but can be had for $399 when purchased with a compatible Razer notebook. Razer has introduced today the Blade Stealth Ultrabook that can turn into a powerful gaming notebook with the help of the Razer Core desktop GPU enclosure. The Razer Core, as mentioned earlier, is a desktop graphics enclosure that can accommodate a single double-wide, full-length, PCI-Express x16 graphics card. The Razer Core, on the other hand, doesn't have a price tag yet with availability yet to be announced. Of course, better speeds always come at a price: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz - $284 (~ Php14,200) Intel Core i7 940 2.93GHz - $562 (~ Php28,100) Intel Core i7 965 3.2GHz Extreme Edition - $999 (~ Php49,950) On top of that, the system will only support DDR3 1066MHz which is still a bit expensive today compared to the standard DDR2.
