Samsung Electronics America recently released a new consumer SSD lineup with high storage capacity and approachable price points, the Samsung 860 QVO SSD.
The Samsung 860 QVO SSD is built on the company’s high-density 4-bit multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash architecture and comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. It is based on the SATA interface with 2.5-inch form factor so it will fit most standard laptops or desktops.
It boasts sequential read and write speeds of up to 550 MB/s and 520 MB/s, respectively. It is also integrated with Intelligent TurboWrite technology, which helps to accelerate speeds while maintaining high performance for longer periods of time.
The Samsung 860 QVO SSD will be available on December 16, 2018, and starts at $149.99 for the 1TB model with a three-year limited warranty.
