Lenovo took advantage of E3 2018 to announce a bunch of different gaming devices. Some of those are their new Legion Y730 and Y530 gaming laptops.
The Legion Y730 and Y530 received quite a design revamp and no longer features a red and black color scheme. The laptops now also feature a new cooling system consisting of dual channel fans with four exhaust vents. The two devices definitely look sleeker, thinner, and more discreet than their predecessors.
Let’s check out their specs. The Y730 will have two variants namely a 15-inch and a 17-inch, as usual, these are only changes in chassis and display size. The laptop is powered by a 15.6-inch or 17-inch FHD IPS G-sync displays with options for 144hz, an 8th generation i7 or i5 processor, an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti GPU, different RAM configurations (Base 8GB), up to a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, up to a 2TB HDD, and a Corsair iCUE RGB keyboard.
Next up, the Legion Y530. It sports almost the same specs as it’s sibling except for a few minor differences. The laptop will only have one variant, which is a 15.6-inch one and the display loses G-sync. We still have an FHD IPS display with a 144hz option and 8th generation i7 or i5 processors. Apart from the Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, the Y530 can also be equipped with the GTX 1050. It can be outfitted with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, up to a 512GB PCIe SSD, and up to a 2TB HDD.
The Lenovo Legion Y730 will be available in September 2018 with a starting price of $1,249.99PHP 73,356INR 105,936EUR 1,190CNY 9,098 (~Php 66,349USD 1,131INR 95,848EUR 1,077CNY 8,234) for the 17-inch and $1,179.99PHP 69,248INR 100,004EUR 1,124CNY 8,588 (~Php 62,633USD 1,067INR 90,480EUR 1,017CNY 7,773) for the 15.6-inch.
