(7) 4GB RAM smartphones under Php20K

Smartphones with 4GB RAM are starting to increase in numbers and no longer just found in top-tier devices. Now they are available mid to high spec segments with price tags fit of a mid-ranger. That said, we have compiled a list of such smartphones all under Php20K.

Note: List is arranged by price from lowest to highest.

Elephone P9000

First up is the Elephone P9000 that became available in the country via Lazada in April. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core CPU, LTE, and Fingerprint scanner.SRP:

Cherry Mobile M1

Next is the Cherry Mobile M1 which was launched a few days ago. It’s one of the first smartphones in the Philippines to sport MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core CPU. In addition, it has a 21MP Sony rear camera, LTE, fingerprint scanner, and Android Marshmallow.SRP:

It’s successor, the Zenfone 3, is coming soon, but the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) is still a worthy consideration thanks to the 5.5-inch Full HD display, Intel Atom quad-core CPU, 64GB internal storage, and LTE.

OnePlus Two

It may be a 2015 smartphone but still one of the most powerful out there given its asking price. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 810 CPU, LTE, fingerprint scanner, and USB Type-C. The downside is it’s not officially available in the country but can be bought in online stores like Widget City for Php18,800 (64GB ROM/4GB RAM).

OPPO F1 Plus

Last but not the least, is the OPPO F1 Plus which is the twin of the OPPO R9 Plus. Touted as a Selfie Expert, it has a 16MP wide-angle front camera coupled with a 13PM PDAF main shooter. Other features include a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core CPU, LTE, 64GB storage, and fingerprint scanner. Original SRP when it launched in April was Php21,990 but is now down to Php19,990.
