The display is one of the most important hardware features of a smartphone as this is where we interact with the device and take advantage of its features. In the case of the Honor 7S, it has a 5.45-inch FullView Display with 1440 x 720 resolution. Here are five times its display comes in handy.

We like watching videos on our big-screen TVs, however, there will be times you need to watch them on-the-go like when commuting and stuck in traffic, on board a plane during a long flight, or when just relaxing somewhere and killing time. The Honor 7S proves to be capable when it comes to these tasks. It has a vibrant screen with accurate colors and good viewing angles. The screen size is not that large, but given the resolution and 295ppi pixel density, it’s more than enough so we can enjoy our favorite content on Netflix or YouTube.
Let’s say you’re done taking photos using the Honor 7S’ cameras. It’s time to edit them before uploading to your favorite social media platforms. From our experience, the display is enough to do light photo editing using apps like Snapseed, VCSO, or straight from Instagram. Since the device is compact, we can even do some quick editing even with one hand.
Now that your photos or videos are ready for upload, the Honor 7S’ display is also good enough for browsing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat. Since it uses an 18:9 aspect ratio, you’re getting a taller than usual viewing space, so you can scroll less while seeing more.
The smartphone is not just for communication and entertainment but also a tool for navigation. With its onboard GPS and mobile connectivity, the Honor 7S can work with apps like Waze and Google Maps. The large screen is an advantage for this, as we can view more of the map so don’t miss a turn. The screen is also bright enough so you don’t have to worry about outdoor visibility, whether you’re in the car, on a bike, or just on foot.
One of our favorite things to do on the Honor 7S is gaming. Aside from the device being a decent performer, its display is also bright and vivid enough so we can enjoy the graphics of the games. The large screen size makes the game more immersive but also leaves you with no worries as to navigating through the game, which is a common problem for smartphones with smaller displays.
And these are the five times that the Honor 7S’ display comes in handy. If you have other ways that you take advantage of your smartphone’s display, let us know in the comments below.
