Back in January, Alcatel unveiled their new product line called One Touch with the flag bearer being the 6.9mm thin Idol Ultra. Today, the company announced the entry-level handset under the same line up, the Alcatel One Touch Star.
This phone is equipped with almost everything you’d expect from an entry-level Android smartphone. At its core, you can find a 1GHz dual core processor, half a gigabyte of RAM and 4GB worth of storage that can be expanded up to 32GB. There’s also a 5MP camera at the back which is couple by a 2MP on the other side just above the 4-inch WVGA display.

The Alcatel One Touch Star will be offered in various colors and two models. One would be an ordinary single-SIM while the other is dual-SIM. On the downside, however, the Alcatel One Touch Star will only have a measly 1500mAh battery pack.
Alcatel remains mum on the pricing and availability of their latest brainchild. But there’s a chance that we’ll know more about this handset in the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
