Apple rolls out iOS 18.5, iPadOS 18.5

Listen to article

Apple is rolling out the latest iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 software updates to users.

Both updates come with minimal new features. The Screen Time feature now notifies parents when a Screen Time passcode is used on their child’s device.

Additionally, the update includes a new Pride Harmony wallpaper—just in time for their new Pride Edition Sport Band for the Apple Watch.

A “Buy with iPhone” label is now available for content purchases within the Apple TV app on third-party devices. Apple has also patched a fix where the Apple Vision Pro app could display a black screen.

Some features, like the support for carrier-provided satellite features, are available only on iPhone 13 models, and not all features may be available in every region or on all Apple devices.

The iOS 18.5 update, with build number 22F76, is available for download on eligible iPhones and iPads. Simply head over to Settings > General > Software Update. Check out the rest of the update log here.

Looking ahead, Apple is set to focus on iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 development, which are expected to be announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
