Cherry Mobile Flare X2: All-Glass Design, 4GB RAM for Php8K

Listen to article

The successor to Cherry Mobile’s Flare X smartphone is promising in the form of the Flare X2, a smartphone bearing scratch-resistant glass on both its front and back panels, and a 4GB RAM specification at a price less than its other counterparts, as seen posted on several Facebook groups.

Archos 55 Diamond Selfie

Based on preliminary specifications and image, one could assume that this could be the Archos 55 Diamond Selfie with a few modifications in hardware (the downgraded internal storage for instance), which is a good steal given the price point.

Cherry Mobile Flare X2 possible specs:
5.5-inch Full HD Display
Dragontail Glass (front and back)
1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 octa-core chip
Adreno 505
32GB internal storage
expandable via microSD card (hybrid)
4GB RAM
16MP rear camera with LED Flash
8MP front camera
4G LTE, 3G HSPA+
Hybrid Dual SIM (micro-nano)
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
GPS
Fingerprint scanner
FM Radio
Gyro Sensor
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
3000mAh nonremovable battery

If this guess bear truth, then we may see the local brand’s first Snapdragon-powered device in a year after the Cosmos Force, bearing a Php7,999 price tag this holiday season.
