Happy new year, everyone! 2022 is finally here and we can expect more devices to launch in the coming months. This also means that we’re going to review some of them, especially those that will be made available in the Philippines. But before that happens, let’s take a quick look at the reviews we’ve done in December 2021.

You might think that this is a good enough device for those who don’t really need a powerful smartphone, yet something that can last you more than a day. And the realme narzo 50i is “pwede na” for that matter. However, if you’re willing to shed a little extra cash, realme offers better options like the realme narzo 50A or the realme 8i. But mostly, if you’re into that Stock Android experience, then that’s what sets this narzo 50i from other smartphones in its range.
The Huawei P50 Pro presents a situation where you can’t have everything. It has a beautiful design, gorgeous display, fantastic speakers, great performance, and amazing cameras. Those features alone make for a very competitive flagship device but the lack of 5G adds another hurdle to an almost perfect device. Just imagine if it had 5G and Google Mobile Services. However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, if priced correctly and you can see yourself navigating through its imperfections, the Huawei P50 Pro is still an amazing smartphone to have.
It’s weird that ASUS released the ROG Phone 5s Pro just 8 months after it released the ROG Phone 5 Pro. And the difference is not that significant. Just a higher-clocked chipset and bigger RAM. If you own the ROG Phone 5 Pro, I don’t think you’ll notice the difference in performance. If they offer the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate at a lower price, I think I might get that one instead. Those coming from the ROG Phone 3 or buying a gaming smartphone for the first time will probably benefit from this option. All in all, the ROG Phone 5s Pro is a great gaming phone for 2021. It’s a weird release, but great nonetheless.
