The transaction will be coursed thru Paypal. I have a US Paypal account and already did lots of online transaction with them (both buying and selling).
To make your transaction more secure do the following:
1) Check if the url is httpS
2) Use your own machine/pc/laptop. Not the rental ones on computer shops.
3) Use your own network connection (not free wifi or office network)
4) Before the transaction, clear your browser cache including cookies
5) After the transaction, do number 4 again.

i dont really like paying through credit card, at least hsbc has some kind of money back guarantee for fraud. may receipt na man eh and company to whom i paid it. Excited na kasi ako eh, so i purchased it right away. Tutal, reputation din ng lg is on the line.
if you dont have a credit card, just open an acount in union bank with paypal. pay there, then use it to pay the phone. it’s much safer that way.

No. LG Optimus One is not a mess. I have LG Optimus One and I feel happy with it. Ano ba ineexpect natin sa low cost phone like LG O1? Well to tell I successfully enabled to maximaize GPU or Graphics Processing Unit of O1 without overclock. And I made the UI more responsive. At first, before, I made it fast by not ab-using it. Like installing apps that O1 is not capable of. Taking care of its battery life turning WIFI and GPS when not needed and turning of 3g also. As a user I am satisfied. If you want a video, i can post it in youtube. Just ask me. Now LG O2X is probably another hit from LG many developers in XDA dev’s are already focusing on it. In the first place, if LG found out that they is something wrong with the unit, I think they will do a recall of all units if FCC or any authorities ask them to do it. I will give you a hint on android devices, I am not full android dev’s but by experience this is how I think of it… “LG or other providers are developing UIs on top of Android… However, because android is so open, you have a choice not to utilize it.” Hope it will help. Kasi masyado tayong comment ng comment pero di HTC, Samsung and SE are having the same issues on their handset. At pareng fuckLG, hindi mo ba alam na ang SE ay swapang sa updates ng firmware? for them it take months to update their firmwares… firmwares pa lang yun ha… just look what happened at SE Xperia X10. took almost a year para madevelop yung dual touch nung device… samantalang yung LG unang release pa lang eh enabled na. And up to now, sobrang bagal pa rin nila(SE) sa updates.

yun lang ung hindi ko nagustohan sa lg, ung camera lang nya…… if you will use its flash, may over exposure and then hindi po maganda ung auto focus nya….. and wala ding continuous focus when shooting a videos…
hindi naman nag hahang ung sakin…. mabilis lang talaga ma drain ung bat.. 1 day lang…

i hated lg for the promo last november. im boycotting all their products. i loath at every salesperson sa store nila. i simply hated the guy with the dog advertisement.
pero this promo, i could purchase it at 50% is an exception.
i have to credit LG for this marketing tactic (not really a strategy). If you know kasi that your product would probably get beat up by an upcoming one by a competitor, you would have to think of the salability of your own. you could preempt the other’s launch by lowering your prices even if it has to be ridiculously low. however, since this promo is limited to 100 people (don’t know for sure but i read it sa mga posts) perhaps LG is gauging the marketability of their product via this “contest/promo” and i wont be surprised if sooner or later, they will announce a price cut for their product (still talking about optimus 2x, btw) which price cut, of course, would be for all units and not just for 100 people. how much that price cut is, if ever they are compelled to do so, would greatly be affected by the number of participants of this promo. that is why, i would respect each one’s decision whether or not they will join the promo.
something tells me though that they are eager to sell all the units they have on hand. perhaps they’re ready to release a much better model. have you guys heard of the term market skimming? it’s a marketing strategy whereby a maker or company release their products at initially high price (and very high margin, indeed) knowing that there’ll be people who will get one (especially those who are not price-sensitive) then slowly drops their prices knowing that with each drop, there’ll be additions of those who will buy hanggang umabot na sa true cost ng kanilang product until such time na they are simply selling the product to avoid storage costs. nokia very much adopted this strategy way back in late 1990s but somehow nag-iba na early in the new century. in the case of LG, if indeed they are using that strategy (di ko kasi nasundan ang pricing ng LG phones kasi di ko masyado nakikita sa amin), perhaps something disturbed their plans kaya ganito ang nangyayari. anyways, i have not tested the product so im wont comment about whether it’s nice or not or worth it or not.

Grabe patulan ba ung promo ng LG, it only shows na madali kayo mabitag sa walang kuwentang promo nila. The more na kinakagat niyo ung promo nila the more na gagawa sila ng mga bagong promo na paglalaruan lng kayo in the end, like what hapen nung previous na promo nila sa megamall/sm city, haba ng pila mor than 1,000+ para lng makakuha ng optimus one, pero sinabi ba nila ng maaga na 10-20 units lng pla ang bebenta nila. roms aren’t technically illegal, android since its conception has been an open-source platform. That’s why each phone brand has their own UI, their own widgets, their own take on how to customize their droid phones. Roms and mods are of the same concept, only their done by the public. And they are welcomed by droid fans as well.
I wouldn’t say even if you’re an ordinary user that you wouldn’t notice the glitches. I mean who wouldn’t notice a phone freezing/rebooting/or suddenly dying? But hey, LG’s about to release an update which would address these issues anyway.
Kuya, a ROM for android is a customized version of the phone’s OS, not a dump of a game file (i.e. gameboy rom).
LG nagpapromo imbis na libre ang ibigay na phone magbabayad ka pa rin. Parang nabawi lang nila ang cost nila sa mananalo na magbabayad pa ng 50%. Nakapagpapromo na sila nabawi pa nila yung cost nila sa pagpaparomo nila. Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng contest winner na magbabayad pa ng 50% ng napanalunan niya.

well my friend had an xperia arc, and we went to cyberzone and may test unit dun nang optimus 2x, to our surprise mas responsive ang xperia arc, single core dre. also try searching google about reviews on it, sobrang daming bugs, prang minadali ang release para maging first dualcore phone.
