Honor 8X, 8X Max unveiled in China

Two new phones were unveiled today in China — the Honor 8X and the Honor 8X Max. The Honor 8X is powered by the new Kirin 710 while the Honor 8X Max will sport a Snapdragon 636/660 chipset, depending on the variant.

The two devices have massive display sizes — 6.5 inches for the 8X and 7.12 inches for the 8X Max. Equally impressive are the battery capacities — 3,750mAh for the 8X and 5,000mAh for the 8X Max.

The Honor 8X will start at CNY 1,399 (~Php11,000) for the 4GB/64GB model, CNY1,599 (~Php12,600) for the 6GB/64GB model, and CNY1,899 (Php14,900) for the top-end 6GB/128GB combo.

On the other hand, the Honor 8X Max with Snapdragon 636 is priced at CNY1,499 (~Php11,800) for the 4GB/64GB combo and CNY1,799 (~Php14,100) for the 4GB/128GB combo. No pricing available for the variant running Snapdragon 660.
