HONOR X70 confirmed to get 8300mAh battery, launches July 15

Listen to article

HONOR has confirmed that the HONOR X70 is launching on July 15 in China, and one of its key highlights is its record-breaking 8,300mAh battery.

The company confirmed the batter spec today, and also released official images of the HONOR X70, showing the phone in four different colors. Despite the large battery (which likely uses a silicon carbon tech), the phone is said to be less than 8mm thick and weighs under 200g.

HONOR also confirmed that the X70 will support 80W wired and 80W wireless charging.

However, just like other phones that have been launched in China with a large battery pack, the spec will most likely change as it releases outside the region.

Earlier leaks suggest the phone will come with a 6.79-inch OLED display (1200 x 2640 resolution), a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It will run on MagicOS 9 out of the box.

More details will be revealed during the official launch next week.
