After all the hype behind the HONOR X9a, HONOR has just announced another smartphone in its mid-range lineup called the HONOR X8a.

The HONOR X8a sports a 90 Hz 6.7-inch LCD display, a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, and a 4,500 mAh battery capacity.
It’s also coming with a triple rear camera system that’s highlighted by a 100 MP main sensor. We’ll see with further testing if this translates to quality photos, especially since we know that a large megapixel count doesn’t necessarily mean great image quality.

HONOR says that the X8a will come in either Cyan Lake, Titanium Silver, or Midnight Black. The availability of each, however, may be subject to which colors HONOR will be bringing over to the Philippines.
As of now, the X8a has an estimated price of £220 for the base 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is around Php 14,557 converted (as of February 9, 2023).
It’s slated to be available in mid-February in other markets but no official word has been released yet on a date for us here in the Philippines. We’ll update you soon once we get more news about the X8a so stay tuned!
