Made available first via Sun Plan 450, the Huawei Ascend G510 is now also available in stores for Php5,990.

The 4.5-inch Jellybean smartphone comes with an IPS LCD and powered by an dual-core Snapdragon processor.

I got the Ascend Y300, which has almost the same specs as the G510 except the bigger screen and a slightly higher cpu clock of the later. Huawei phones are getting better and better IMO.. premium looking, solid built, JB 4.1 and specially the Emotion UI, which is I believe has some great potential. For me Huawei is better than Cherry and/or MyPhone. Prices definitely bang for the buck. :)

What the? Shoulda bought this over the Y300. Bad choice of mine! A 500 peso more would be better for a 4.5incher one than the 4incher variant! Grrr

Technically, the Y300 has more battery life despite the same 1750 mAh because of its smaller screen. The only difference is the slim form factor and the bigger screen of the G510. I’ve used some 4.3 to 5 inch phones before but I’m gone back to 4 inch since they are much easier to handle and carry. And PPI is more higher on the Y300. Well that’s a matter of personal preferences anyway, I think both phones are good. :)

“More higher” redundant, sorry. XD Btw according to gsmarena, the G510 has 1,700 mAh while the Y300 has 1,730. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. :)
