Huawei Ascend P2 announced with 150Mbps LTE

Huawei’s Acsend P2 has been announced at MWC and features the company’s very own quad-core chip, just like the Ascend D2 and Ascend D Quad XL. The Ascend P2 also boasts of a CAT 4 LTE which supports up to 150Mbps downlink.

Of course, the 150Mbps LTE will only be achievable if the LTE network of the telco can also handle it (currently most LTE networks peak ta about 42Mbps).

Huawei should start announcing local availability and pricing by next quarter.

..now don’t expect much LTE downlink speed here in the philippines…and worse LTE reception…

… agree, bro. It’s amazing how much growth there has been in the past several months when it comes to LTE technology on smartphones. I can’t say the same for Telcos. :(
