Honor has launched in China the Play 7, a new phone from the brand presenting modest hardware for its price with an 18:9 display, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 8.1 Oreo right out of the box.
The affordable price tag aims to take on affordable devices by rivals Xiaomi and Lenovo, whose handsets have gone for cheaps and is favorably well-received in their hometown. Powering the device is the recently-released MediaTek MT6739 chip, a PowerVR GPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 3020mAh battery capacity.

The Honor Play 7 is now available in China in Blue, Gold, and Black color variants for CNY 599 or roughly Php4,950 when directly converted.
