Huawei Mate40 Pro priced in the Philippines

Huawei has recently announced the local pricing for its latest 5G flagship smartphone, the Mate40 Pro.

The Huawei Mate40 Pro is powered by a Kirin 9000 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and 4,400mAh with 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It has a 6.76-inch FHD+ OLED display, triple rear cameras, and a 13MP front cameras mated with a 3D depth-sensing camera.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be available on December 4 , 2020 for PHP 55,999. Those who will buy from December 4 to December 6 will get a ring light case worth PHP 3,999 for free.

    That’s surprising, Huawei usually installs the latest Android OS when they release a new flagship but this time the Mate 40 Pro is still on Android 10. This is the same version as Mate 30 of last year.
    Isn’t it only the GMS/Play store software which is blocked and they can have updates on the Android OS software since it’s open source?
