Huawei has unveiled the Nova 5T in an event in Malaysia.

According to SoyaCincau, the Nova 5T comes with a quad-camera setup. It’s reported to feature a 6.26-inch FHD+ display, with a hole-punch selfie camera. It’s being touted around that the cameras of the 5T include a 48MP main camera that has a Sony IMX 586 sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP depth, and 2MP super-macro-mode.

The smartphone is also expected to be equipped with a Kirin 980 chipset, 8GB RAM, and two storage variants, in 128GB or 256GB. From the images shown in the event, the Nova 5T is set to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other expected features include a 3,750mAh battery and a USB-C port.

The Huawei Nova 5T will officially launch in Malaysia on August 27. Stay tuned for its official specs, pricing, and availability.
