Huawei P9 confirmed in photos: Dual-camera Leica, Kirin 955

Listen to article

Huawei has just revealed 3 official photos of the upcoming Huawei P9 and it confirmed a lot of the earlier leaks we’ve seen before.

First is the existence of a dual camera setup which will be provided by Leica, a partnership they will announce in April 6 during the global launch in London.

The official photos also show a fingerprint sensor at the back.

What we got from our sources close to Huawei is that the P9 will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 955 octa-core chip that runs at 2.5GHz. RAM options is 3GB and 4GB with storage that’s either 32GB or 64GB.

The partnership with Leica is a huge win for Huawei as it could pave the way for them to get that premium consideration in the eyes consumers. As for the price, it will definitely be in the Php20k to Php25k range as traditionally positioned by Huawei.
