Leaked: Actual photos of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha

We just receieved exclusive photos of an actual Samsung Galaxy Alpha already in the wild. Announced just last week, the Galaxy Alpha has metal trimmings and only 6.7mm thin.

One of our readers who is a telecoms engineer working abroad and testing the Galaxy Alpha got a hold of a handset before it is released in the market. He sent us quite a number of photos but wants to remain anonymous.

so what’s worth writing about? isa lang syang magiging option from a slew of thousands of handsets in the market. Like what arsenal mentioned, same old tired boring design. The Aquos Crystal on the other hand really got my attention!

Putek na yan… Ok na sana kaso non expandable memory taz single sim at mababa ang battery… Wala talaga kwenta ang samsung, bagong labas nga tapos kulang ng specs…

pangit pala ng actual na ALPHA. Tapos ang mahal ng presyo. No wonder “If it comes from Samsung, it’s overpriced”.

This phone is meant to compete with the upcoming iPhone 6, despite the midrange specs of the device. In Samsung’s mind, a metal, premium-looking phone will attract iPhone users into switching to the Galaxy. Though, not the best strategy since iPhone users buy iPhones for the build material as well as for the OS.
