Every year, a “Fan Edition” (FE) of that year’s flagship launches a few months after the main line. It’s meant to bridge the gap between the cutting edge and make it more accessible through a mid-cycle refresh.

With how powerful the S26 series is, I’m sure many are curious as to how much will be carried over to this year’s FE version. Well, a leaked benchmark can give us a bit of a clue.
The Galaxy S26 FE is operating under the code “SM-S741U.” It’s seen running on Android 17 here, with a probable 8GB of RAM. The benchmark used is Geekbench 6.2.2.
Based on the CPU information, it’s running on the deca-core Exynos 2500 chipset – which is also the same used in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This is an interesting choice considering the S26 devices and the Fold went all-in on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon.

It has achieved a score of 2426 on single-core and 8004 on multi-core. Albeit markedly lower than the S26 line, that is still monstrously powerful and definitely flagship-grade. Most people will never notice a deficit in power during day-to-day use.

We’ll give more updates when we have verified information in the coming months!
