Taking the world by storm in 2020, Lenovo launched its Legion line of gaming phones, even recruiting ROG employees in the process, showing how they were serious in taking a chunk of the gaming phone business. However, Lenovo is now pulling the plug on its gaming phone business, after just 3 years.
Lenovo’s spokesperson said that “Lenovo is discontinuing its Android-based Legion mobile gaming phones as part of a wider business transformation and gaming portfolio consolidation. As a leader in gaming devices and solutions, Lenovo is committed to advancing the gaming category across form factors, as well as focusing on where it can bring the most value to the global gaming community.” That being said, Lenovo will now focus its resources on its Moto Line of smartphones instead.
However, there is no need to worry, there are still other gaming phones in the market for you to choose from, and ROG is slated to launch the ROG Phone 7 soon.

How about software updates for existing models? Will they still continue those?
