Listen to article

Microsoft has announced that it will soon sell a special edition of the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S8 flagship called the Samsung Galaxy S8 Microsoft Edition.

According to an official statement acquired by Engadget, the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Microsoft Edition is the result of a partnership between Microsoft and Samsung. The smartphones still run Android and have the same looks as the original but will feature Microsoft’s business productivity apps such as Office, OneDrive, Cortana, Outlook and more, which will be downloaded the first time the device is connected to WiFi.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Microsoft Edition are available to pre-order now and for purchase beginning April 21 at U.S. Microsoft Store locations.
