Motorola has announced a new entry level device in India, the moto g96 5G.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage configurations, though it lacks expandable storage.

Flip to front, it sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ curved pOLED display, runs up to 144Hz refresh rate, and peaks at 1600 nits of luminance.

Camera-wise, it features a dual rear setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide.

Battery is rated 5500mAh with support for 33W charging. It runs Android 15 out of the box and only gets one major OS upgrade and three years of security patches.
