Motorola is preparing to launch a new pair of wireless earbuds, as leaked images of the Moto Buds 2 Plus have surfaced online.

The images were shared by known leakster Evan Blass and show the design of Motorola’s upcoming true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. While Motorola has not yet announced an official launch date, the leak gives an early look at what users can expect from the Moto Buds 2 Plus.
Based on the images, the Moto Buds 2 Plus comes with a vertical charging case, which is a change from the horizontal case used by the older Moto Buds+. The earbuds and the outer part of the case share the same color, while the inside of the case uses a contrasting shade. The front of the case shows Motorola’s batwing logo, with the text “Sound by Bose” below it, confirming that Bose is again involved in tuning the audio.
The earbuds are expected to support active noise cancellation (ANC), although Motorola has not confirmed this yet. Reports also suggest support for Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, which could improve sound quality for music and video streaming.
Motorola introduced the original Moto Buds+ in April 2024, and the Moto Buds 2 Plus appears to be its direct successor. More details such as pricing, battery life, and availability are expected to surface closer to the official launch.
