Update: Read our Nokia E71 Review.
These models were supposed to be released last May (at least for the E71) but got delayed. The new business line of mobile phones, the Nokia E71 and E66, were announced yesterday. Pictures and specs after the jump.
Leaked pictures of the E71 have been going around for months now and finally it’s out and it looks like they combined features, design and functionalities of the E51 and the E61i:
It’s also thin at 10mm (thinner than my 11mm Blackjack!) with 3G/HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera (LED light only though) in a 2.3-inch screen. The QWERTY keyboard is cramped compared to the old E61i but that’s the tradeoff of making it more slim and pocket-friendly.
On the other hand, the E66 is like the E51 on slider mode:
This one sports the same features except for a slightly wider 2.4 inch screen and lower battery life. I’m almost sold on the Nokia E71 but will postpone judgment until I’ve extensively used that cramped keyboard.
Both units will come in black and white colors and ship out next month (July 2008) for a price tag around $500PHP 29,343INR 42,375EUR 476CNY 3,639 a pop (~Php22,500USD 383INR 32,504EUR 365CNY 2,792).

Hi Yuga, It’s been released? But not in Manila yet? When do you expect this unit to get to Manila? Thanks.

Do you guys know where I can buy a white steel E71? I’ve asked Nokia already and said that they have no idea when it will be released in the Philippines. Thanks.

i bought my nokia E71 a month ago and i can say that it’s the best phone i ever had! I had to adjust though with the keypads because they’re small and too close. i still cannot use the gps and maps because the service is not yet available in the philippines. Browsing the net is just like using a computer. sometimes its faster than my laptop. Btw, m using my e71 in writing this comment. All i can say is, buy it! Your 23K is worth it!!!;)

I’ve been using my e71 since September 08 and I’m still enjoying it specially after I’ve got movies (5 of them!) using SmartMovies I got from Mosh. Where’s my laptop?! Hehehehe!!!
