The OnePlus crew had an appearance at reddit’s AMA (Ask Me Anything) where they disclosed new details for their upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 2.

According to the folks from OnePlus, the new smartphone would be smaller in size as the OnePlus One, but will have a larger 3,300mAh battery (compared to 3,100mAh). When asked if the navigation buttons would be on-screen or capacitive, they answered, ” We have a solution in place that will satisfy everyone”.

As for the available colors, the company promises that “this year’s StyleSwaps are gonna be much better”.

They keynote viewing was also reported to be available for watching with or without VR — which is unusual for presentations. In addition, the invite system will prioritize those who have shown support for the device early on.

Below is a list of supported network bands:

US GSM model

  • (GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/8 FDD-LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/7/8/12/17)

Europe GSM model

  • (850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/5/8 FDD-LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20)

If you remember the rumored specs of this anticipated flagship, we could be seeing the OnePlus 2 with a Snapdragon 810 CPU, 4GB RAM, sub-$450 pricing, and a USB Type-C port. With all these working together, the device is shaping up to be a beefy smartphone.
